The Optaro® XL Universal iPad Holder version features an expandable clamp that holds either an 11” or 13” iPad even with most cases attached, turning any size iPad into a full-featured video magnifier and mobile screen reader. Optaro® XL is perfect to use for various visual tasks at home, school and at work. It’s the smart solution to help the visually impaired with reading, writing and handicrafts.

Specifically designed for reading longer texts, Optaro® XL makes use of the iPad’s large display but has its own features such as 2 centrally located full HD cameras, 2 display positions, 3 customizable read-aloud/OCR functions, lines and blinds and adjustable glare-free illumination.

Simply download the Optaro® XL app, place the iPad in the stand and connect the Optaro® XL with the USB-C cable (included). Once connected, the Optaro® XL camera module provides 2.5- 22x magnification and a large field of view visible on the iPad screen. There are two display positions available including one for fast reading and everyday use, and another which provides increased visibility for reading longer texts, writing and handicrafts.

The OCR function provides a full-page text analysis and read-aloud feature instantly reads aloud a column of text.

Optaro® is the first video magnifier specifically made for a smartphone. It easily attaches to an iPhone turning two devices into one. By downloading the free app, it allows the iPhone to communicate with the Optaro® camera, turning the phone into a full-featured video magnifier.

Optaro® can be attached to an iPhone one of two ways, one of which is an integrated case that holds the iPhone and Optaro® camera module together. There are 18 iPhone cases available designed to fit on iPhone models 12 – 16 Pro Max. For iPhones out of this range there is an Optaro® Universal Stand available.

Once connected, the Optaro® camera module provides a Full HD image, 3.3x – 15x magnification and a large field of view visible on the iPhone screen. The LED illumination can be adjusted or turned off, ensuring a glare-free image, and there are 14 color mode options from which to choose. With adjustable reading lines and blinds, a read aloud function, and customizable menu, the Optaro® is designed to provide a more comfortable viewing experience for those with vision loss.

The fold-out stand on the Optaro® holds the iPhone at a comfortable ergonomic angle and the camera, located under the center of the phone, automatically swivels into the reading position when folded out to ensure there is no on-screen distortion or orientation issues.
